What We're All About
We began Kosher Connection, Inc., formerly Creative
Cuisine, almost 19 years ago after having worked for
several other Kansas City caterers.  We realized that we
had what it took to understand our client's needs and
work with them, using our culinary expertise, to plan
fantastic events.  We started small, and soon after we
were catering parties for hundreds of people.  Because
kosher catering became our signature, in 1995 we
changed our name to Kosher Connection, Inc., and have
been doing predominantly kosher events ever since!  We
make all the traditional Jewish favorites, from matzo-ball
soup to noodle kugel, and we pride ourselves on doing
our own baking using the finest ingredients.

While a party of 1,000 guests for Country Hill Bank;s 10th
anniversary remains our largest party so far, our average
event is typically several hundred people.  When it
comes to the type of food that our clients want for their
events, we work with them to develop a menu that is
personal to them that will fit within their budget.  We
often work with families who may have a special family
recipe that they'd like at their event and incorporate it
into our menu.  We've even had grandmothers in the
kitchen teaching us how to cook their secret family
recipes!

Judy Parelman, former administrator at Beth Shalom
Synagogue, was quoted in the November 8, 1996
Jewish
Chronicle
as saying, "I've always found Joyce and Cathy
to be a delight to work with.  They will work with B'nai
Mitzvah parents and families planning a wedding to
select a correct menu.  They are very conscious of
budget restraints, too."

We are always experimenting with new recipes and ways
of tackling the same types of events to ensure that we
remain current and fresh.  Staying in contact with our
clients and providing good communication through the
process, we find that we can avoid most snags and issues,
resulting in a stress-free event.  In addition to catering,
we can also provide our clients assistance with other
event essentials such as florists, musicians,
photographers and more.  There is no detail that we
can't handle to ensure a spectacular event!
